I have three final papers I should be writing now, but I’m taking a quick break to present you with something more important—my new favorite sweater. Yes, these papers will determine whether or not I graduate and never have to take another class again after this Monday, but just look at the little clouds on this sweater.
If you’ve been reading my blog or following me on Instagram, you know I really love clouds, and you may have heard me complain that most cloud print clothes are made for babies. So when I saw this cloud print sweater from Press Fashions, I got really excited. I ordered it immediately and tracked the package obsessively online.
When I put this outfit together, I prepared myself for all the compliments I’d get on the sweater, but everyone was really crazy for the boots. I bought them a few years ago (I think at Marshall’s) and they’re still in pretty good shape considering they were like $30. But hey, eyes up here on the sweater!
To anyone else suffering through finals and procrastinating on papers, I wish you the best of luck! Get lots of sleep, take a warm bath, stay hydrated, and remember there’s a light at the end of the tunnel. Happy studying!

Happy October! Everyone bust out your pumpkin spice lattes, Anne of Green Gables quotes, and red lipstick!
Really though, October is a great month, and I’m enjoying the cool, crisp weather (and I’m enjoying saying the word “crisp” to describe everything) and dressing in so many snuggly layers. I like to dress in all black so when I go home to visit my family everyone is tricked into thinking I lost weight in Paris and I’m now très chic, when really I’ve been eating an entire bag of caramel apple lollipops for breakfast every morning this month.

Hi friends! Thank you so much to everyone who has been following my blog for the past few months. It’s been a lot of fun and it means a lot to me.
I’m finishing up my last final today and moving out of my apartment this weekend, so I most likely won’t post any more until I’m in Paris. I definitely plan to keep updating this blog with pictures from my trip, so follow me here and on Instagram if you’re interested in seeing those!
I thought this shirt from Brooklyn Industries was perfect for finals week. “No Sleep Til Brooklyn” has been my mantra for the past few years, but it’s never so relevant as during finals. 😉

Today was my last class of my last spring semester and it feels so bittersweet. I’m so excited to be moving on to new adventures, but New York has really become home to me and I’ll be sad to leave in two weeks!
But I am so thrilled about this warm weather, and I made a vow sometime in January when I was up to my knees in snow not to complain about summer no matter how hot it gets. So even though I was a little too toasty in this outfit (I changed into jean shorts and sandals as soon as I got home from school) I’m just so glad it’s the season for t-shirts and floral print!
I’m also excited because I got my tote bag from Brooklyn Industries in the mail yesterday! Ever since I found out I was going to Paris I’ve been on the hunt for a quality tote bag that wasn’t too expensive. I like carrying little cross-body bags, so I just wanted a tote to travel and then use as a school bag for my final semester. I was stuck between totes from Fossil and Madewell when I stumbled across this vegan leather bag and fell in love. Great quality, cool brand, and about one third of what I was planning on spending. It’s soft but sturdy, and coral on the inside. Oh also on the inside there’s a whole extra bag. Yeah. It comes with a cross-body bag with a removable strap.
If you’ve done a lot of traveling, leave me a comment and let me know some advice you wish someone would’ve told you that makes traveling a lot easier, whether it’s a tip, something I need to pack, or a place I should visit!

My best friends will tell you that while I love fashion, my first love is food. So needless to say, food festivals like Smorgasburg are my absolute favorite place to be on a Sunday morning. Smorgasburg is a place that I recommend to both fellow New Yorkers and tourists, because it has something for everyone to enjoy: great food, a fun Brooklyn vibe, and a beautiful view of the lower Manhattan skyline. There are dozens of vendors every weekend, so there’s also something for every taste, whether you’re paleo, vegan, or on an all-carb diet.
Flowy, loose layers are great for spring, but mostly great for hiding the pudge you get after eating a ramen burger, spicy tuna poke, and a thai tea fudgesicle. If you’ve been to Smorgasburg, let me know what food is your favorite!
